Dave Colby has been teaching my son, now 10, for the last two years. What really stands out to me is how committed Dave is, even after he's been on-court for each kid. A former college player myself, I've seen many teaching pros who talk through the motions. From my son's very first lesson with Dave, I was impressed with how present he is on the court— mentally and emotionally. He builds strong players, but more importantly, strong young men.

Thanks to Dave, the first time my son went to the U.S. Open, he got to play on a stadium court. Dave organized a large group of players and parents and chartered a bus to bring us to New York for the day. When we got there, he kids received VIP passes and got to experience on-court time. All the players were introduced on the big stage with an announcer. As a tennis parent, that day was unforgettable and a great experience for the kids and parents.
